Seattle, Day One
Part one of a weekend trip up to Seattle a few weeks back.
Music is “Breakneck Speed” from the album Champ by Tokyo Police Club. Shot with Canon 5D Mark II, edited in Final Cut Pro X.
October in LA
While our friends on the east coast dealt with a snow storm we spent one of the last days of October at the beach. Living in LA has completely ruined us for seasons.
Shot entirely on my iPhone 4S, edited with Final Cut Pro X. Music is “Midnight City” by M83 from their new album Hurry Up We’re Dreaming.
Awesome hand-picked videos from my friends at Uncrate. They sail the turbulent seas of YouTube to find the best videos and present them all in HD and iPhone- and iPad-friendly formats.
My Day, Yesterday
A little over a year ago now, I shot and released this little video project, recording a day and compressing it down into 90 seconds. A few weeks later, I shot another one when I traveled to Las Vegas.
The response to this project was enormous and other people started doing it too. The My Day, Yesterday pool currently has 215 videos and 724 members. That’s a lot considering how much work it can be to shoot video all day and edit it down to just 90 seconds.
I’ve been wanting to do another one of these videos for a long time but haven’t due to other commitments. The one-year anniversary seems like a great reason, though.
If you haven’t seen these videos or done one yourself, I encourage you to visit the pool, watch a few, and start recording.
