While playing Glitch yesterday, I was looking through the realty listings and all the made up language confused Google Chrome into thinking the page was in a foreign language. Cute. Also: Glitch is awesome. More on that later.
Cute, Google Chrome.
Adds a nice Wikipedia donation banner to every single web page.
Perfect! Now I can finally look at that creepy picture of Jimmy Wales all the time, not just when I’m looking up the history of the blueberry muffin or what started World War I.
Install this immediately if you have to use Internet Explorer. It will use Chrome (WebKit) to render pages that contain the special Chrome Frame meta tag.
It doesn’t require users to have Google Chrome itself, installs in seconds, and makes using Internet Explorer bearable. You can even prompt IE users to install it.
A nice benefit of this plugin is that it isn’t on by default (read: those shitty corporate coded-for-IE-sites will continue to work) and requires site developers to include the meta tag to turn it on.
