Things I like about the newly announced Vimeo Plus:

• Priority uploading/conversion (I’ve complained in the past about Vimeo’s uploading/conversion issues)
• HD embedding
• Player customization
• Domain-level privacy, allowing you to specify who can embed your content
• Higher video quality

Things I don’t like about the newly announced Vimeo Plus:

• HD embedding is limited to 1,000 views, then you have to purchase more views in blocks of 1k, 10k or 100k ($10, $50, $200 respectively)—1,000 views for a year is a very small number, and I can see this becoming expensive if you run a popular website and want to embed your content in HD

Alright, so I really only dislike one thing. Otherwise I think it’s a fantastic deal and I wish a hearty congrats to the Vimeo crew. I’m excited to see where this goes.
