I redesigned again. That’s what I do. I redesign all the time. I’m nuts. Honestly, I grew to hate the last version pretty much right away and have been sitting on this redo for some time, I just haven’t had a chance to get it online because of the 30-mile mountain of work I’ve been underneath for the past few months.
Of course, this looks best in Safari. In fact, it looks hands over feet better. If you’re using a different browser, I’m sorry. Not much I can do (although Firefox 3.1 will support CSS text-shadows whenever it comes out, which is nice), other than direct you to a screenshot of the design in Safari while you cry.
I should also thank Jeff Croft, whose link styles I took great inspiration from for this redesign. It was accidental at first but when I remembered where I was getting the idea from I decided to keep it. So thanks, Jeff.
