I just got an email from Dreamhost telling me I have five special invitation codes I can give out. Each one has the following perks:
- You get four times the normal disk and bandwidth
- If you choose their five-year plan, you get $150 off
- If you choose their ten-year plan, you get $200 off
I don’t know if this is something you might want. I’ve written about Dreamhost many times in the past—they’re not a company I would suggest for Ruby on Rails, and not a company I would suggest for high-scale apps or important clients.
That being said, I do use them for all my media stuff (the podcast, in particular) because they give you an INSANE amount of space and bandwidth. So in that case, they’re worth their cheap prices.
