Born and raised in Seattle, I moved to the New York area in 1997, where I attended film school. I moved to Williamsburg, Brooklyn in 2003 and have lived in the same apartment ever since.
During the day, I build websites and software. Applications like xPad, the little app that could (and still does), SimpleLog and most recently Ego are good examples of how I feel software can help users focus on the task at hand.
When not writing code, I'm an actor and filmmaker. I make short films and host a comedy podcast and sketch show. Occasionally, I perform improvisational and sketch comedy in NYC at places like the Upright Citizens Brigade and PIT theatres. And, from time to time, I write fiction.
Recently, I started lampooning ridiculous Tumblr entries on a site called That's Not Art.
